OBSESSION BULLDOGS PUPPY PURCHASE AGREEMENT

This document is an agreement between Obsession Bulldogs and the buyer for the purchase of above mentioned puppy. It is understood by both parties that the puppy is in good health at the time of sale, with no signs of infectious disease and a current veterinary health certificate. The purchase price is mentioned above.

Any deposit given in advance is non-refundable and will be applied to the purchase price of the puppy. It is understood that the purchaser must have the puppy paid in full before the puppy leaves the premises of Obsession Bulldogs. If any balance owed is not paid in full by the agreed-upon delivery date, the purchase agreement is breached, and the deposit will not be refunded. The breeder has full ownership of the puppy and the right to list the puppy for sale.

The puppy will receive vaccines, fecal check with any necessary deworming, and a veterinary health certificate. Any veterinary care required after the time of sale, including any additional vaccines, is the responsibility of the purchaser.

If the buyer determines that they can no longer care for the puppy or wishes to return the puppy for any reason, they relinquish all rights to the puppy. No monies will be refunded.

One Year Health Warranty

The puppy is guaranteed for one year from birth against any life-threatening genetic disorders. The puppy must be taken to a licensed veterinarian for an exam within 3 days of sale. The puppy must be kept current on all vaccinations and receive regular health examinations by a licensed veterinarian.

If a genetic life-threatening condition is found before the age of one year, the breeder must be notified immediately. The buyer must provide the breeder with a statement from a licensed veterinarian, along with the veterinarian’s contact information. If a problem is found with the puppy and the veterinarian decides that the puppy needs to be euthanized, the breeder must be notified before this is done. If possible, a necropsy should be performed by a licensed veterinarian. If the cause of death is a life-threatening genetic condition, the buyer will be eligible to receive a refund if desired, if and only if the puppy has received proper veterinary care and the problem was found within one year of birth.

Health Conditions

The health warranty does NOT apply to conditions considered common to bulldog breeds. These include, but are not limited to, cherry eye, strabismus, elongated soft palate, entropion, and stenotic nares. The health warranty also does not apply to allergies, undescended testicles, intestinal parasites (including coccidiosis), heat stroke, or infections.

The buyer is responsible for this puppy and all medical expenses for the puppy. Once the puppy leaves the hands of the breeder, the breeder is no longer financially responsible for it, whether the puppy is picked up by the new owner or a delivery party. The breeder does not guarantee the puppy to be of show or breeding quality. If the puppy is not properly cared for, as determined by a licensed veterinarian, this contract is void. This contract is non-transferable and is only valid for the buyer who signs the contract.
